And I've Never Seen The Goonies Either

I tried to see Footloose tonight at the I ♥ the 80s film festival in Rosslyn but a violent thunderstorm dampened our plans and had us hiding in the park bathroom and picnicking under umbrellas until they finally called the whole thing off. At least the distraction of the weather kept me from having to admit that I've never actually seen Footloose. Seeing it finally at 29 is not quite the same as seeing it in my formative years with the rest of my generation. Sigh.
