The blog has been silent lately because of a lovely summer vacation that took us back to Washington and Oregon. The vacation started in Portland with a visit to my lovely and pregnant best friend, where she and her husband introduced us to Voodoo Donuts, a 24 donut-dive. The next day we took in the Portland Public Market before heading to Astoria for a wedding.
